What is "Accepted & Advertised" in Trademark?

“Accepted & Advertised” means that the trademark authority has accepted your mark and listed it in the trademark journal.

When the status is "Accepted & Advertised", the applicant is not required to take any action.

If any third party opposes to the mark by filing TM-O after it is published in the journal, as a trademark applicant, you must file a counter statement within two months.

Time from "Accepted & Advertised" to "Registered"

In the absence of opposition, after four months, your trademark application status is eligible to change from 'Accepted & Advertised' to 'Registered'.

If anyone opposes the mark, you are required to fight for your application by first filing a Counter Statement and then attend hearings till Opposition is removed, else your application can not get registered unless the decision is in your favour.

Well; if no one opposes within the specified time frame or if the trademark officer rules in your favour, the applicant will receive the Trademark Certificate within 1-3 months generally.
